Adventures of Maximus Prime — Whitney Bradshaw

During the last days of June 2016 Maddox Copperman, 8, and his family embarked on a cross country adventure from Eugene, OR to Milwaukee, WI. The trip consisted of one Pensky with an attached trailer, a cat, two parents, and one three-year old; one Prius filled with three grandmas and one van in which Maddox and his older brother rode with their two babysitters and two dogs.

The caravan consisted of 38 hours. There was one Prius mishap when the grandma squad mis read the gas gauge five hours into the road trip, two trailer breakdowns on Highway 90E, in which Maddox and his crew had to leave the trailer on the side of the road for a couple hours and come back for it later, one car running out of oil in Wyoming, one lost three year-old at a rest stop and one Kayak slipping off the top of the Prius on Highway 90E.

When the family finally arrived it wasn't more than an hour before Maddox met his new neighbor Austin and began riding bikes to a nearby park.

Now deep into Montana, maddox gets outfitted with a real cowboy hat and leather gun holder.

After racing through Montana and Wyoming, Maddox arrives at Mt. Rushmore in South Dakota.
